Artist identity

(Darius) Robert Wayne, born in New York, is known artistically as l’Ombre Nomade (The Nomad of Shadows) and Ezediel — a name derived from the archangel Hesediel (לאֵידִסֶח), associated with freedom and benevolence, and the code 717, his birth time.
His trajectory has developed through different musical phases, building an international audience and a catalogue that has surpassed 23 million Spotify streams across more than 122 countries.
Ezediel authors his work end-to-end, from composition, production and vocals to visual direction and release strategy. Earlier work in nu-metal and experimental electronic music contributed a vocabulary of weight, texture and contrast that now informs his techno output without defining it through a single genre framework.
His work has been featured in major magazines including DJ Mag Germany, Dancing Astronaut, SounderMag, EARMILK, YourEDM and more.
The same integrated approach extends through SVKR3D, the independent label and event platform he founded for releases, live formats and collaborations.
Techno treated as an adaptable framework — high-pressure, percussive, open and experimental without losing a coherent signature.
Original vocals and physical presence turn the set into something performed, not simply selected.
Music, artwork, imagery and release architecture operate as one controlled artist system. No ghost production.

Sound & performance

Ezediel approaches techno as an adaptable framework rather than a fixed subgenre.
Sets are shaped around room response, timing and format, moving between high-pressure, percussive, more open and experimental passages while maintaining a consistent artist identity. Harder styles and adjacent electronic forms are used as functional tools rather than genre markers.
The sound is built through layering, spatial detail, original vocals and controlled contrast. Faster sections commonly operate around 160–165 BPM, but intensity is structured dynamically rather than maintained as a constant.
The underlying direction is cathartic rather than pessimistic: tension, physical pressure and release are used toward transformation and collective response, without reducing the project to darkness or aggression.
